Your data
Privacy policy
Updated September 27, 2026.
This policy covers the METRUM website and apps, including accounts, guided training, personal records, synchronization and subscription access.
1. Who is responsible
METRUM is operated by Aetherion Anestesia Ltda., in Brazil. The support and personal data contact channel is support@usemetrum.com.
2. Data we use
- Browsing: the infrastructure that delivers and protects the website may process IP addresses, dates and times, requested addresses, browser information, and technical security logs.
- Contact: if you send an email, we receive your address and the content you choose to share so we can respond to your request.
- Account sign-in: Apple or Google and Supabase process account identifiers and authorized basic data, such as name and email, to verify identity and maintain your session. METRUM does not receive your provider password.
The public website does not collect training or intimate records. In the app, you can save goals, sessions, routines, measurements, journal and wellbeing entries. Account-linked records synchronize as described below. Do not send these records through support.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We use the data needed to operate your account, deliver training, store and synchronize your records, verify subscription access, answer support requests and protect the service. Applicable legal bases include providing the requested service, legal obligations, legitimate security interests and, where required, consent for sensitive data. You can request access, correction or deletion through support.
4. Services involved
Cloudflare delivers and protects the website. Apple or Google and Supabase support sign-in. Google Cloud and Supabase support account services and synchronization. These providers may process data internationally, subject to applicable data protection requirements.
RevenueCat processes subscription identifiers, purchases and access status. Apple processes App Store payments; web checkout, where offered, uses RevenueCat and Stripe. METRUM does not receive your full card details. Prices and renewal conditions are shown before purchase.
5. Browser storage and advertising
This website does not install advertising pixels or marketing cookies. Necessary browser storage supports sign-in and preferences. Installed apps use protected system storage for session credentials. Device storage also holds your settings and records; account synchronization is described below.
With your permission, your browser can use your location to suggest a language. Coordinates are processed on your device; we do not send them to another service or store them on this website. When browser storage is available, we save only your chosen language and whether a suggestion has already been attempted. You can change the language in the top menu. Without permission, storage, or a recognized location, we use English.
In the METRUM apps for iOS, Android and the web, the same account brings together settings, language, goals, routines and workout history. Measurements, journal entries and wellbeing records synchronize when the private area is opened. Cloud copies are encrypted by the server, with a separately managed key; this is not end-to-end encryption. METRUM uses Google Cloud and Supabase to provide this continuity. Offline changes wait for the next synchronization. Deletions also propagate to connected devices. Local passwords, biometrics and device permissions are not synchronized. Subscription access is verified on the account, without a new purchase on each device. Use the contact in this policy to request access to or deletion of account data.
6. Retention and protection
Data is retained for the time necessary for the stated purposes and applicable obligations. Retention periods for technical logs and infrastructure copies also depend on the services used. We do not promise instant deletion of all copies. We use HTTPS connections and access controls; no service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights and how to request assistance
You can contact support@usemetrum.com to request confirmation of processing, access, correction, information about sharing and, where applicable, deletion, anonymization, portability, or a review of data use. Where processing depends on consent, you may withdraw it. We may request proportionate identity verification to prevent others from accessing your data.
You can also consult the guidance from Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority and use its support channels.
8. Audience and changes
METRUM is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We update this policy when data practices change and communicate material changes through the product. Current contact details remain available here.
